I have practiced real estate since 1980, when I first established the original Placitas Land Company, which transitioned into Placitas Land and Homes, In 1988, my partners and I carried out the building of what is now known as La Puerta. My 42 years in the business have taken me from Jarales/Belen to Albuquerque, Tijeras, Placitas, Santa Fe and places in-between. Each property I have sold has been unique, and over the many years and many transactions, I can honestly and securely navigate the intricacies of real estate practice. I am also proudly associated with Avery Johnson of The Shaffer Real Estate Team at Keller Williams in Albuquerque. Avery, a new licensee, happens to be my adorable grandson who has already experienced a significant level of professional success working at KW. I can see myself in him, and so much more!! He’s literally a part of the NextGen class of Americans- eager, optimistic, driven, friendly and very bright. I am not exaggerating, even if I am his grandmother!
